The wonderful people at TSYS asked me to write a piece for their "ngenuity journal” on artificial intelligence and banking. I think it came out rather well. It came from sitting down and thinking from first principles about artificial intelligence in banking. All of the conference presentations I'd been to had been about what happens when banks deploy AI for chatbots, robo-advisors etc. But if you think about it for a moment, that can't be the future of banking.
